The Bluebirds extended their unbeaten run to seven matches after claiming a hard-earned draw, in front of nearly 200 Barrow fans at the JobServe Community Stadium. Colchester knew they had to win and then hope three other results elsewhere went their way, if they were to make the League Two play-offs. Barrow almost fell behind in the third minute.

    2 1/1 BARROW boss Andy Whing was happy his side answered the call to be braver during an entertaining six-goal thriller. After two dour goalless draws over the Easter weekend, the Bluebirds signed off from Holker Street with an end-to-end 3-3 draw with Bromley. They were pegged back three times as goals from Ben Whitfield, Isaac Fletcher and Elliot Newby were cancelled out by Michael Cheek, Nicke Kabamba and Omar Sowunmi.
