This week, once again, raging Canadian wildfires are making New York City hazy. This is not a repeat of 2023, when fires from north of the border sent thick plumes of smoke rolling south, blanketing New York City in a thick haze that shrouded the skies and worsened air quality throughout the region for several days. It's more like the milder version from August and September of last year.
