On a crisp Wednesday morning, instead of heading to the first class of the day, six St. John’s students, including myself, accompanied by chaperones Coach Virgil Campbell and Señora Edma Margarita Serrano, took a slight detour to St. Louis, to attend the NAIS Student Diversity Leadership Conference (SDLC). SDLC is a multiracial, multicultural gathering for high school students from across the U.S. and abroad.

Southwest BANA 2023: Gathering of Bunt Families in HoustonUSA: Southwest BANA event which is celebrated once every 2 years was once again celebrated recently in Houston, Texas USA. Southwest BANA comprises of states- Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and New Mexico. The evening of April 22nd was a special one in Houston, the guests started trickling in clad in beautiful Indian attire, adding a vibrant splash of colours to the evening. They were welcomed warmly by the Houston Bunts.
