    The other week, I went to the Salt Shed to see Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. I went against my boyfriend’s advice. See, he had patched my tire that morning. Five minutes from the venue, my wheel started thudding. I couldn’t get to the next gas station — I had to pull over right then and there in the middle of traffic. Fortunately, I ended up right in front of a bar and some people saw me and came to my aid. Anyway, they got my spare on with some finagling.
