Tripwire Interactive, the developer/publisher behind the upcoming Killing Floor 3, has informed fans that the game will no longer be releasing in March as originally planned. Instead, the arrival date has been pushed forward to an unspecified date 'later in 2025' to allow some much-needed polishing time, based on player feedback during the game's beta period. Chill-vibes sandbox-survival game, Aloft, sees its first major update: Critters and Wonders. Much like the title suggests, with this update, players can now discover and collect a range of cutesy critters and encounter new island types known as 'Wonder Islands'. The cute critters in question include bees, butterflies, bats, frogs, and more, and to enhance their collectability, they will come in a variety of colours and rarities.

DARK SOULS: REMASTERED is [expletive redacted] brilliant! I'll make no bones about it. With its production helmed by now-renowned videogame visionary Hidetaka Miyazaki, DARK SOULS blossomed into a beautifully challenging (if a little rushed at the end) masterpiece, one that I am sad to admit to having experienced only very recently.

I recently braved a first-time playthrough of DARK SOULS: REMASTERED, and I loved it! What started out as a precarious struggle through the twilit and punishing lands of Lordran soon transformed into one truly epic adventure. My forgotten undead became a bonafide hero! and I'm now left saddened by the fact that I will never again be able to experience such a masterpiece with fresh eyes. However, there was one area that rubbed me the wrong way: the Tomb of the (damn) Giants.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim graced our seventh-generation consoles nearly 14 years ago (oh, now I do feel old). And when it arrived, the aforementioned fifth mainline entry in the beloved franchise brought with it a wealth of “improvements”, which included an updated (broodier and less cartoonish) overall look and feel, a looping dungeon design, modernised (keyboard and gamepad) controls, and alongside all of that even grew a very talented and dedicated modding community.

It Was You pits between five and 12 players against one another, assigning each of them either a "Detective" or "Killer" role. Lethal Company, a four-player horror indie game, which requires that its players feed a constantly inflating quota with old scrap procured from long-abandoned planets, is where you and your friends should really be putting (at least some of) your gaming time right now. Granted, Lethal Company is not the newest game on the block, being a little over a year old. Nor is it the shiniest, with bigger budget titles easily outclassing it visually.
