DiscussionDuring the FOCUS4 trial, each laboratory received, processed and reported results for several hundred samples. Working closely together prior to the first patient entering the trial, the laboratories were able to optimise all assays. These optimisations were critical to the smooth running of the centralised testing strategy that FOCUS4 employed.
