Hi friend,And happy November!The darker months are here (in the North), and that means one thing: it’s time to get cozy. As you know, I tend not to go outside much when it’s dark out
 so my evenings (starting at 4pm lol) will now be spent exercising, doing puzzles, and reading. I’ve been writing a long list of books I want to borrow from the library this season, and many of you shared that your own reading picks up in fall/winter.

Hi friend,I have lived in the UK for nearly two years now, and am still constantly discovering the differences in how we (my being Canadian) use the English language. Itā€™s typically in the idioms and colloquialisms. Always in the slang (some of my new favourite words are ā€œfaffā€ and ā€œjolly,ā€ but I think Iā€™ll get a proper A+ when I understand and use the shorthand names for people from certain cities/regions).
