On Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, three days after issuing a stay on the injunction against enforcementof the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), the U.S. Fifth CircuitCourt of Appeals vacated its own ruling and reinstated theinjunction. As a result, reporting companies are once againtemporarily relieved of the obligation to file a beneficialownership information (BOI) report, pending resolution of thisfast-paced litigation.
