They were luxurious and sprawling, but they definitely weren’t worth that much. “These were exceptional properties but their owners, aided and abetted by estate agents fighting for listings, had simply misread the market,” says Philip Harvey, of the buying agency, Property Vision. His clients paid NZ$23.6 million and NZ$21.4 million respectively for them.

'Spectacular' moment an enormous tornado crosses a rainbowSoon after a stunning tornado touched down south of North Platte, Nebraska, storm chasers hailed it as “the tornado of the year” - a photogenic funnel that dazzled onlookers for 45 minutes but caused no structural damage. Sakkari reached the second round after completing a 7-5, 7-6 victory at the Bad Homburg Open in Germany. As the players shook hands, Putintseva was quick to take her hand away, angering Sakkari.
