    The Steelers offense was absolutely improved Sunday in their win over the Bengals. It looked more fluid and productive and the Steelers took more shots down the field. OK, now that we have established I agree the Steelers offense was improved, hopefully we can have a more nuanced conversation about it all. If you are confused by where I stand on whether or not the offense was better while reading this, refer to the first two paragraphs.

    Mike Sullivan had not run an offense and had control of the play calling in six years. The last time he had his finger on the button of the audio device that transmits plays to the quarterback was the final game of the 2017 season with the New York Giants. But he got to do it again Sunday in Cincinnati in his first game as the interim play caller. And the feeling for him had to be just as energizing as it was for the Steelers offense.
