There's an urgent need to increase Veterans' Affairs personnel in Guam. Congressman James Moylan told this exact thing to acting Secretary of Veterans Affairs Todd Hunter noting Guam is home to nearly 200,000 patriots who love their country. An enlistment, he said, that is at a higher rate than any other state or territory in the nation, and at the same level, the highest number of veterans per capita.

Murder defendant David Uncangco, Jr. is denied his request to have the robbery charges filed in a separate case against him dismissed with prejudice. The court previously granted the prosecution's request to dismiss without prejudice, meaning they could refile the charges against Uncangco at a later time. Uncangco argued for the robbery case to be tossed completely, but Superior Court Judge Maria Cenzon denied his request.

A tragic turn of events since Sunday night's serious car crash along Harmon Loop Road in Dededo. Guam Police Spokesperson Officer Berlyn Savella issued a press release midday Wednesday that the driver, identified as Traynie Radford, has died. Doctors at the Guam Regional Medical City took him off life support at 2:12 on Tuesday.
