    PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- Local chef, Matthew Stebbins, has made it his mission to cook up fresh meals for those in need. "Double Trellis Food Initiative" focuses on curating packaged meals that also have great flavor. They will provide the meals to other programs in the city who will be the distributors. Stebbins himself was someone who struggled with food and housing insecurity. After making a big lifestyle change, he is determined to keep this project going.

    PALMYRA, New Jersey (WPVI) -- High school senior, Maeve O'Connell, has made it her mission that no girl in her area is without a beautiful prom dress. Community members have donated to the cause so that they could give away the dresses for free at The Palmyra Venue. It's a mission she's been doing for over a year, and community members have donated to the cause. O'Connell is hoping to continue the boutique next year when she is home from College.     PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- Urban Youth Kings & Queens Inc. is a nonprofit started by Haneef Hill to share the upbringing he had with others. He was raised in after-school athletics, keeping him in structured activities growing up. "For me, as a young child, kept me off the streets, and I always really had a purpose," said Hill. Their basic after-school programs are held at 3 schools in Philly, as well as sporting programs across the city.

    PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- The "Philly Sound Exchange" finds common ground for kids of many backgrounds while making music. The project was started by a KIPP Philadelphia Public School teacher. "Mainly been focused on bringing suburban and city students together for projects that reflect their various identities and help them get to know each other and connect with each other," said Director of Philly Sound Exchange, Mike Schaller.

    CHERRY HILL, New Jersey (WPVI) -- One admirable K9 named "Solo" has inspired a man to impact dogs nationwide. "Friends of Solo Foundation" raises money to provide protective equipment to K9s in the force. They have provided over 30 vests to various recipients, including one in Cherry Hill.
