    The Queensland Government has invested a further $1 million to encourage even more residents to use sustainable transport. after its newly introduced E-Mobility Rebate Scheme proved wildly popular and was exhausted in a matter of day. The scheme was introduced on 23 September to provide e-bike buyers with a $500 rebate towards the purchase price of eligible vehicles. $200 rebates were also on offer for eligible e-scooters.

    More than 7000 riders braved testing conditions on Sunday to take part in a very special United Energy Around the Bay, the 30th anniversary of Melbourne’s most iconic bike ride. Those taking on the 300km route were rewarded with a cold and wet start line at Albert Park just after 5am, and things hardly improved by the time the 220km and 100km riders departed not long after.

All Bicycle Network members are welcome to attend in-person, but only eligible members who have been continuous members for nine months may attend virtually via Zoom.
