Week 8 was full of big performances from quarterback studs like Josh Allen, Joe Burrow and Jalen Hurts, but a few streamers got into the mix as well with Sam Howell taking the QB1 spot for the week and rookie Will Levis finishing as the QB6 in his NFL debut. Tight end Taysom Hill actually passed for a touchdown and finished as the QB10, albeit on the back of 63 yards and two scores on the ground.

Week 7 was a top-heavy week for quarterbacks with Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes producing near week-winning output, but a few others – including some unfamiliar faces – stepped up as well. Gardner Minshew was the head streamer, although he was rostered in just four percent of leagues because he was facing the previously stout and consistent Browns’ defense. Tyrod Taylor and Mac Jones sandwiched the 20-point mark with 21 and 19 apiece, but that was about it for streaming QBs in Week 7.

Week 6 was one of the more disgusting weeks of NFL football so far this season, and that was easily illustrated by the fact that there were only three quarterbacks who topped 20 points. This season’s previous low for 20-point quarterbacks was six in Week 1, and there’d been an average of 10.4 20-point QBs per week in the first five. Let’s hope Week 7 is a bit more appetizing despite another collection of low totals at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Week 5 was one full of big quarterback performances in fantasy football, including a couple streaming QBs. Jared Goff and Sam Howell were popular, easy choices given their matchup and situation, but Desmond Ridder delivered his second 20-point effort of the season, despite the fact it was also just his second double-digit output. However, the two biggest pieces of news are Justin Fields’ back-to-back outbursts and Joe Burrow’s return to form.

Week 4 was dominated by mobile quarterbacks, with the top three on the week combining for four rushing touchdowns. Even the QB4 and QB5 – Justin Fields and Jalen Hurts – are excellent rushers, although they rode passing production to their fantasy success this time. Even Zach Wilson put up 19 fantasy points in a primetime matchup against a Chiefs defense that had been playing extremely well. If you streamed him, you’ve got more gusto than I could ever have, so kudos to you.
