This week, Wizards of the Coast updated the System Reference Document (SRD) for Dungeons and Dragons to version 5.2, making the game’s 2024 rules available in an open source format. The document includes thebasic 2024 ruleset but also includes an expanded amount of content from the previous 5.1 version, which included the rules from the original 2014 edition of D&D 5e.

A bunch of new profession recipes have been added to WoW Classic Season of Discovery as part of Phase 8’s outdoor content in New Avalon. These recipes are rewards for completing quests around New Avalon, opposed to being randomized drops like the Scarlet disguise recipes, and yield endgame level items that are useful in a pinch or as long-term staples.

Season of Discovery Phase 8 will feature a brand new World of Warcraft Classic raid, the Scarlet Enclave is now live! This new raid focuses on a schism between two splinter factions of Scarlet Crusaders. The Scarlet Enclave is also the name of a Scarlet Crusade stronghold composed of Tyr’s Hand and New Avalon in the Eastern Plaguelands and is a new playable zone to explore in Phase 8. There are new quests and activities in this area but the raid itself is found elsewhere in the zone.

World of Warcraft Classic’s Season of Discovery Phase 8 is now live and players can now do new quest and open world content in the Eastern Plaguelands. The next part of Phase 8, the new Scarlet Enclave raid, will launch at 1PM pacific time on April 10, 2025. We first learned about Phase 8 when Senior Game Producer Josh “Aggrend” Greenfield revealed the WoW Classic team was working on more Season of Discovery content in a detailed comment on the YouTube video of a WoW Classic content creator.

The World of Warcraft Trading Post has a new set of rewards for the month of April, headlined by Darkmoon Faire-themed mounts and transmog options.
