The win now puts Trump closer to the 270 electoral vote mark that he needs to win the election. He stands now at 230 votes. With 89% of votes reporting, Trump leads Vice President Kamala Harris with 51% of the vote compared to Harris’s 48%. The state was widely considered to be one of the most competitive in the country prior to election night.
