The Weekly Nutshell: It's honestly just hard to comprehend. I know the 2025 Minnesota Twins are not this bad. We saw what they are capable of when they went 18-8 in a month of May that included a 13-game winning streak. This is a team that, according to both projection models and betting lines, was at least a co-favorite in the AL Central heading into the season, and at times they have looked like it. Competency was the baseline expectation here.

The Weekly Nutshell: The first week without Pablo López and Zebby Matthews pushed the rotation from concern to full-blown crisis. David Festa has awesome stuff. That's easy to see, and it has translated into results. In his MLB career, he has struck out 77 hitters in 64 ⅓ innings with a 13% swing-and-miss rate. These are excellent numbers, especially for a young pitcher still finding his way in the big leagues. On top of that, Festa has overcome his greatest perceived weakness by walking just 8% of the hitters he has faced.

It is actually astounding how much Drake has destroyed his rep and credibility in the rap community. Kendrick teed him up but he did it to himself with this pathetic lawsuit BS.

I think the Twins offense is going to have a very good series in Oakramento. As to how telling that would be, hard to say. The A's are extremely bad and it's a minor league park.

RT @NickNelsonMN: The final week of May was an eventful one for the #MNTwins. They got back Buxton and Wallner (with gusto), had their best…
