The Red Sox were well-represented in the new Baseball America Top 100 Prospects rankings released Wednesday. But the most interesting development in the rankings came in the 90s. It was there that the Red Sox had two pitching prospects ranked. That would be righty Payton Tolle (No. 94) and lefty Brandon Clarke (No. 96).

Chicago White Sox infielder Chase Meidroth picked the wrong time to use his head. Meidroth, a former Boston Red Sox prospect, became the focal point of a blooper for the ages when what appeared to be an easy fly ball glanced off his glove and then bounced off his head.
