Sam Howell is fun. Probably not good enough to compete with JJ, but he's a gamer, with a live arm and an overweening confidence that makes for fun highlights. Still just 24. If KOC can get him to play within structure inside the pocket a little more, there's some upside there.

That is about as cheap as a solid backup QB deal could get. Love it.

I was initially a bit lukewarm on Donovan Jackson given the reach against consensus and seeing guard as non-premium. But are guards still non-premium? There's 5 guards making $20+M, compared to 7 CBs. Makes sense with iDL contracts ballooning as well.
