While most of the credit card world has been focused today on the Chase Sapphire Reserve cards, many recent Sapphire Preferred applicants received an email today indicating that they will receive an extra $50 travel credit this year. As you can see above, this one-time $50  credit is good toward any Chase Travel℠ booking. The email is going out today those who have opened the Chase Sapphire preferred card within the past year.

Updated new cardmember bonus offers are out today on the newly-refreshed Chase Sapphire Reserve card (consumer version) and the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business. While both cards feature big introductory offers, you’ll want to pay close attention to the details to decide whether these make sense for you. You’ll also want to consult the new eligibility rules as we have seen some important changes on that front.

For years, the main purpose of an ultra-premium credit card has been to take advantage of its benefits. Whether the ability to redeem points for increased value, get lounge access for authorized users, or enjoy other swanky perks, ultra-premium cards were once chock-full of premium benefits to accompany a premium price tag. They were simple to explain and wise tools for informed consumers. Unfortunately, we’re seeing a new trend take hold: ultra-premium cards chock-full of time-consuming coupons.

I recently took a big family trip to Europe with my immediate family (my wife and two kids) and four other adult family members. We’ll visited Italy (Lake Como and Rome), then cruised to Malta, Sicily, and a number of Adriatic Sea destinations before wrapping things up in Athens. It’s was a pretty ambitious trip to plan for eight people (6 adults and 2 kids). When you add up the cost of flights and hotels, this trip would have cost well over $50,000 to book with cash.

5-night cruise in Feb was my only travel abroad first 5 months of the year. Was abroad ~2/3 of June, less than half of July, and just over half of August & *paid for additional data*. @TMobile offers to sell that, but doesn't want me to use their service when I travel? Confused. https://t.co/wn7wktAjeA

Make a 20-track comp of your all-time fav tracks, each artist can only feature once. Not the 'best' songs, the ones that bring instant joy the second you hear the first note, the ones that give other people the best insight into what stirs your soul. Share when ready. #20tracks

Monetization of the blue check was the dumbest thing ever. We can chuckle here, but the real problem is that it is so easy to not only fall for fake information, but then to print it. I don't doubt that @KingJames would pay to see it (wouldn't we all?) but he didn't say it. Yet. https://t.co/2KxaopaKbf
