Punters are set for a bumper afternoon of racing action on Saturday, with the final day of the 2024 York Ebor Festival. The feature race is the Ebor Handicap over a mile and three quarters, which is one of the biggest betting races of the entire year. It is arguably behind only the Grand National and perhaps the Cheltenham Gold Cup in terms of popularity for punters and backing the Ebor winner is a real badge of honour each year.

We’re set for yet another stellar day of racing at York on Friday afternoon, with the third day of the 2024 Ebor Festival hitting our screens. Much like with the opening two days, the seven-race card is headlined by Group 1 action, courtesy of the Coolmore Wootton Bassett Nunthorpe Stakes. The five furlong contest is one of the most ferocious and competitive sprint races of the season and it is hugely popular with punters – with entry to the Breeders’ Cup on offer to the winner.

After a stunning opening day of the York Ebor Festival, punters aren’t given any time at all to recover, with another stellar line-up on Day Two. The seven-race card is a world-class one, with the feature being the Group 1 Pertemps Network Yorkshire Oaks at 3.35pm. The mile and a half contest has been won by some of the best fillies and mares around over the years, including the all-conquering Enable in 2017 and 2019.

Having had a fortnight or so to rest and recuperate after Glorious Goodwood, punters are in for a feast of racing action this week, courtesy of the four-day-long York Ebor Festival. Beginning on Wednesday 21st August, the festival has wall-to-wall top-class racing planned, with no contest on the opening day falling below Class 2 level.

After four days of top-class racing action, the fifth and final day of Glorious Goodwood is upon us on Saturday afternoon. There may not be a Group 1 race to head the bill but we’re still in for a treat, with a mixture of Group races and fiendishly difficult handicap puzzles to solve. The feature race is the Coral Stewards’ Cup over six furlongs, an historic handicap which is one of the most popular and difficult betting puzzles of the entire season for punters to get their teeth stuck into.
