The normally sure-handed Golden Bears struggled in the field, allowing the Lancers to build an early lead and maintain it in a back-and-forth battle at Fox Cities Stadium.

DUBUQUE, Iowa (WQOW) - Erin Connolly told 18 News she would likely be a head coach someday. That day came Friday as the former UW-Eau Claire women's hockey standout and coach was named the head coach of the University of Dubuque. Connolly becomes the Spartans' second head coach in program history following five seasons on the bench with the Blugolds.

MADISON (WQOW) - Altoona boys tennis capped a historic season with a runner-up trophy at the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 2 tournament on Saturday. The Rails defeated Kohler, 4-3, in the semifinals Saturday morning at Nielsen Tennis Stadium before falling to University School of Milwaukee, 5-2, in the finals.
