Synthetic jets (SJs) offer a promising technique for enhancing aerodynamic efficiency in vertical-axis wind turbines (VAWTs) by controlling boundary layer separation on airfoils. This study uses computational fluid dynamics simulations to investigate the impact of SJs on a VAWT.
