Tuesday 14 January 2025 A small but strong team of our talent pathway athletes will make up an England indoor track and field team returning to Iceland on 27 January for the 2025 Reykjavik International Games. This event is renowned for excellent performances and is a great early indoor opportunity for athletes chasing indoor qualifying standards. The team will consist of athletes with varying degerees of experience; for some it is their first international opportunity.

Friday 10 January 2025 After the successes of previous years, England Athletics will be returning to Sweden for the Växjö Throws International 2025. A strong team of 15 throwers have been selected to represent their country against athletes from Sweden, Iceland and Norway. The England team is made up of athletes aiming for a spot in the European Under 20 and Under 23 Championships this summer.

Thursday 9 January 2025 England Athletics is delighted to announce the eight athletes selected to represent England at the 2025 Armagh International Road Races on 13 February. The women compete over 3k and the team is led by Amelia Quirk (Bracknell AC, Mick Woods) who is selected after running 15:35 on the roads before winning Telford 10k in 32:34 in December. She is joined by Holly Dixon (Cambridge Harriers) who ran inside 16 minutes for 5k three times in 2024.

Wednesday 18 December 2024 The AAA has a fund which is able to support English athletes under the age of 23 who are in full time education and active in athletics. Registered charity Athletics for the Young are particularly interested in helping genuine hardship cases for promising young athletes. Over recent years, it has been the policy of the charity to award grants of £100 to £400.
