Sir David Attenborough is set to celebrate his 99th birthday on Thursday this week (May 8) with the announcement that he will be narrating the BBC's upcoming landmark natural history series, Parenthood. The five-part series, due to air later this summer, explores the extraordinary lengths various species go to ensure their offspring's survival. Jack Bootle, the BBC's specialist factual commissioning boss, told the Mirror that Sir David has already completed the narration for all five episodes.
