    Every business is defined by its customers — but it’s not always obvious who an organization’s customers really are. When it comes to VC firms, investors have historically and unsurprisingly viewed their limited partners (LPs) — the source of VCs’ funding — as their customers. But in recent years, investors have begun to rethink this traditional mindset. In the early 2000s, some VCs began suggesting that the entrepreneurs in whom they invested were their true customers.

    Due diligence has made a comeback. According to a study of 700 venture capital firms, a typical deal once took 83 days to complete. On an average deal, VCs would spend 118 hours on due diligence and call 10 references. During the frothy “funding party” in 2021, VCs began prioritizing speed and cutting corners, leading to compressed cycles and less robust vetting. The assumption was often that someone else had already done the diligence.

    Une nouvelle exposition au forum antique de Bavay« Construire malin construire Romain » est la nouvelle présentation du musée archéologique de Bavay. La scénographie explore sept matériaux utilisés dans l’Empire romain: le fer, le bois, la terre cuite, le calcaire, le verre, les pigments et le marbre. Les objets exposés proviennent majoritairement des fouilles menées sur le site et offrent un aperçu de la vie gallo-romaine. Du 7 décembre au 5 novembre 2024.
