ABSTRACTThis paper explores how libraries operationalize diversity when engaging their communities. Based on an analysis of responses to a survey issued during Phase 2 of the National Impact of Library Public Programs Assessment (NILPPA) project, it argues that programming partnerships can help libraries identify and respond to the most pressing needs of diverse groups within their communities.

By Nicole Cooke, October 22, 2024 University of Central Missouri (UCM) Theatre and Dance and Central Missouri Playwrights will present the New Play Festival at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 31, Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 2 and Nov. 3 in the Black Box Theatre at Nickerson Hall on the UCM campus. The New Play Festival will present new works written by UCM students ranging from 10-minute and one-act plays to full-length plays, with different shows performing each night.

The University of Central Missouri (UCM) will welcome alumni back to their “stomping ground” during Homecoming festivities Oct. 21-26. UCM will celebrate 2024 Homecoming, themed “This is Our Stomping Ground,” with a weeklong celebration. The public is invited to several events on Friday, Oct. 25, and Saturday, Oct. 26. On Friday, the UCM Alumni Foundation will host the Homecoming Hub from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Elliott Student Union Auditorium.
