Among patients who did not undergo reoperation during the study period (70.2% of the overall cohort), the differences in patient-reported functional status at the time of final follow-up were compared between groups. At a minimum of 5 years postoperatively, there was no difference in mHHS between patients with global acetabular overcoverage, patients with lateral overcoverage, and patients with no overcoverage (79.2 ± 24.6 vs 84.2 ± 15.8 vs 83.5 ± 12.4; P = .647).
