Archer Aviation plans to introduce New York City to the eVTOL world with its first air-taxi hub. The Silicon Valley firm made the announcement at a press conference in Manhattan, noting that its five-person Midnight air taxi would be able to travel from Manhattan to New York’s largest airports in five to 10 minutes. The network will be part of a partnership with United Airlines.

Billionaires are already feeling the effects of Trump’s tariffs. The world’s 500 richest people lost a combined $208 billion on Thursday after the president’s new levies went into effect and caused a tizzy on markets around the globe, Bloomberg reported. That drop is the fourth-largest one-day decline in the 13-year history of publication’s Billionaires Index, as well as the biggest since the Covid-19 pandemic.

Numarine’s new flagship has the Mediterranean on its mind. Inspired by the beach-club lifestyle of Med superyachts, the Turkish builder just unveiled the 153-foot 47MXP. Of course, the vessel isn’t limited to exploring the Mediterranean: The superyacht is designed for long-range cruising in comfort, thanks to its steel hull and aluminum superstructure. In fact, the 47MXP is equipped with the same hull (and about 30-foot beam) as Numarine’s 45XP model.
