Thanksgiving is a classic American tradition dedicated to food, friends, and gratitude. But studying at St Andrew’s makes it strange not to have a day dedicated to turkey and pie. Aetosauria is a clade of quadrupedal, armored archosaurs whose terrestrial ecology is inferred as including both herbivory and omnivory (Desojo et al., Citation2013). Aetosaurs achieved a nearly global geographic distribution, whereas they are stratigraphically restricted to the Upper Triassic (Carnian–Rhaetian) (Desojo et al., Citation2013; Biacchi Brust et al., Citation2018). Most aetosaur taxa reach a total body length between 2 and 6 meters (Desojo et al., Citation2013).
