Cape Town authorities are on high alert following a weather warning ahead of a cold front expected at the weekend. More than 100 rhinos have been poached between January and March. During the same period, there were 15 rhino-poaching related arrests. The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment said the monthly average for poaching is on par with last year, when there were a total of 420 rhinos killed. More than 100 rhinos have been poached in the first three months of the year, Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment Dion George has said.
