The La Salle girls hockey team topped the Smithfield/Coventry/Moses Brown co-op, 2-0 to win the girls hockey championship. Seniors Eliza Barker and Maddie Bradley scored the Rams' goals. The top-seeded East Greenwich/Toll Gate boys hockey co-op won the Division II championship Sunday afternoon, topping Portsmouth, 4-3 in overtime. The defending champion Patriots tied the game at three late in the third period to force overtime. Bryant is moving on to the America East semifinals after topping UMBC, 85-74 in the opening round of the conference tournament. Bryant held a ten-point lead at halftime, but UMBC hung around in the second half. America East Player of the Year Earl Timberlake and first-team all-conference selection Rafael Pinzon took over down the stretch to hold off the Retrievers. 16 of Timberlake's 18 points came in the second half.
