A Monroe County resident helps capture a suspect during a manhunt. The incident started as a retail theft at the Pocono Premium Outlets in Tannersville. Two suspects took police on a dangerous pursuit on Interstate 80 that ended in Stroud Township. A manhunt then ensued as every law enforcement agency worked together to capture the pair on foot. A 10 thousand dollar reward for justice is now offered in a gruesome Monroe County animal cruelty case. It’s been seven years since police started searching for three teenagers who threw a small dog to a pitbull in Stroud Township ending its life. Since then monetary reward signs have been posted on multiple trees and utility poles near Blue Mountain Lake. Now the amount has not only grown nearly seven fold but the signs are naming someone who may know those involved.

The barcodes you can scan with your smartphone to pay for parking in Stroudsburg have been compromised. We're told the scam is happening in many municipalities throughout Eastern Pennsylvania.
