It’s September and life is hectic. I haven’t submitted as many New Yorker comics as I did earlier this year because of life tumult. I drew the above comic this summer. Sometimes the art comes first - in this case, I felt like my face was melting in the heat. I workshopped the caption a hundred times and couldn’t settle on anything.
