Background: Clinical auditing is a tool to improve healthcare quality. However, there is a lack of information on changes in outcomes following the implementation of the mandatory Dutch Hepato Biliary Audit(DHBA). This study aimed to assess the impact of the DHBA on surgical outcomes.
