At a meeting in Ukraine's western city of Lviv, ministers from almost 20 European nations gave their political sign-off to the tribunal, welcoming the completion of the technical work required to set it up. The United National Constitutional Party (UNCP) of Armenia has initiated a motion of no confidence—an impeachment procedure—against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Report informs via Armenian media. "I am authorized to declare that we are initiating a motion of no confidence (impeachment) against the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan," party's chairman Hovik Agazaryan said on his Facebook page.

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has canceled his planned visit to Israel, which was scheduled for early next week, Report informs, citing The Jerusalem Post. Earlier, the Axios news portal reported with reference to Israeli officials that Hegseth had planned to visit Israel ahead of President Donald Trump's trip to the Middle East. The Pentagon chief’s visit was expected to take place on May 12.

The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) may announce the end of its armed struggle against Türkiye and formally dissolve as early as today, Report informs, citing Middle East Eye. Sources familiar with the matter say that the PKK held a congress from May 5 to 7, where it discussed an appeal from its imprisoned leader Abdullah Ocalan. In February, Ocalan called on the organization he founded over 40 years ago to lay down arms.
