Like most people, I use my smartphone for everything: doomscrolling on social media, spamming my friends with photos of my family dog, and filling up its storage with photos and videos from concerts or taken on my daily walks. Smartphone photography has come a long way, and I always say the best camera is the one in your hands. Naturally, it will take a lot of convincing to make someone ditch their smartphone for photography, videography and vlogging.

As someone who plays video games in her spare time, I need one of the best gaming headsets to truly elevate my experience — and that’s where the Asus ROG Pelta comes in. I’ve been testing this headset by playing horror games on my PS5 and I have to say, if a game like Alan Wake 2 didn’t terrify you already, playing it through the ROG Pelta sure will.

I’m usually not a fan of keyboards with a 65% layout, but the Epomaker HE65 Mag may have just converted me. For a compact keyboard, it is ridiculously powerful. The usual magnetic features are on full display, such as per-key and quad-point actuation, Rapid Trigger and Snap Tap. But the HE65 Mag also features 8,000Hz wireless polling over 2.4G, which we haven’t seen on many other keyboards as they usually require a wired connection — giving the HE65 Mag more flexibility.

The Canon PowerShot V1 is Canon’s answer to Sony’s domination of the compact vlogging camera market. For its size, the PowerShot V1 is a beast of a camera. Not only does it record lovely, bright 4K/60fps and FHD/120fps footage, but it comes with a plethora of vlogging-specific features that take the pain out of content creation. It’s a good-looking camera too, sporting an all-black design, and it’s extremely comfortable to hold.

The Cherry XTRFY M50 Wireless is one of the best gaming mice today — but what qualifies it as such? Firstly, it’s an extremely comfortable mouse (as long as you’re right-handed) suited to both palm and claw grips. It boasts fantastic specs, with a maximum DPI of 12,000 that’s suitable for most casual gaming titles, and a 1,000Hz polling rate that negates the possibility of input lag. Perhaps the cherry on top of the cake (see what I did there?) is its price.
