Following the scoring controversy with American Jordan Chiles, Romanian gymnast Ana Maria Barbosu has now received her Olympic bronze after taking third place in the individual floor event in Paris. The Romanian Olympic Committee presented Barbosu with her medal on Friday. Her teammate, Sabrina Voinea, was also present for the event in Barbosu’s hometown of Foscani.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy called DT Albert Huggins‘ behavior after he shoved a Rams staffer on Wednesday “unacceptable.” The fifth-year Cowboys head coach made sure Rams coach Sean McVay heard from him about the incident, which occurred while McCarthy was on the other side of the field at joint practice. As far as Huggins is concerned, McCarthy has accepted his apology for the errant shove. “Obviously, his behavior is unacceptable. It’s something that’s been addressed,” McCarthy said.

The Dallas Cowboys suffered another loss on the offensive line this week. Second-year tackle Earl Bostick Jr. went down in practice on Wednesday with Mike McCarthy revealing Thursday that the former Jayhawk will need surgery. Bostick will return to Dallas for surgery on his leg, meanwhile, newcomer Cohl Cohl Cabral will begin working into the rotation at practice. Dallas has another preseason game coming up this weekend, this time against the Raiders in Las Vegas.
