It’s been 4 months since I had my first DEXA scan at Eleve. The DEXA scan tells you how much fat and lean mass you have. In this scan you get a score, and you can even look at things like how your body composition between your left and right arms compare. In my first scan I learned that my body fat needs focus, but my lean mass was right on target, Good/Excellent. My visceral fat, which is the fat around your organs needs focus, but my bone density was excellent.

It’s softball season, and I love sitting beside the field cheering for my girls. The thing I don’t necessarily love is trying to plan dinners around game schedules. Ballpark food is not exactly on my plan. This is where Katrina comes in. I was able to talk with her about the challenges I was facing. First, game times are either 5:30-6:45 or 7:00-8:15pm. They have to arrive at the field half an hour before the game starts.

Are you not feeling like the best version of you? I was at that point too. There are so many things that were going on with me that I didn’t know. They were all contributing to my lack of energy, my struggles with my weight, and my issues with sleep. When I met with the doctor at Eleve MedSpa and saw the results from all the testing that we did during the assessments I started to understand why I felt the way that I felt and knew I needed to commit to a change. When I started the Eleve MedSpa Vitality Program my cardiovascular age according to my Oura ring was .5 years older than my actual age. Today it’s 1 year younger! My resting heart rate has improved significantly too, which is a sign that my cardiovascular health has improved. My cardiovascular health was a major thing that we were focused on addressing in this program. At my next coaching appointment, I get to do another DEXA Scan. I am excited to see how the results have changed.
