The analysis describes temporal trends in CVD death rates from 2010 to 2022 and estimates excess CVD deaths from 2020 to 2022.

    Maternal Nativity and Preterm Birth Key PointsQuestion  What is the association between maternal birthplace and preterm birth rates, and are there differences by self-reported race and ethnicity of pregnant individuals? Findings  In this cross-sectional study of 8 590 988 nulliparous individuals with a live birth in the US between 2014 and 2019, preterm birth rates were significantly lower among non–US-born individuals compared with US-born individuals.
