    Spring fever is definitely not in the air if you step outside today but Pesach fever is in full swing in every store, on every person’s mind, and certainly affecting everyone’s bank account. It was the first time in my life that I had to stand on line to use the keilim mikvah last Friday. Parking spots were almost nil and mostly men were bringing newly acquired pots, pans and everything else they, or I assume their wives, needed for the holiday. I just had one lonely item.

    I’ve done it many times. I have become accustomed to walking with our grandson Zev along the streets of Teaneck and have watched almost every person who walks along the street coming over to greet Zev. Whether he knows them or not he shouts out to them or them to him. It is remarkable how everyone seems to know him. No joke, I can guarantee that if he were to run for office in Teaneck it would be a shoo-in: Zev Kinderlehrer as the mayor of Teaneck.

    Is it just me or have others experienced the following: You answer your phone and hear someone say, upon hearing your voice, the title of this article (look above). I’d rather not be told the call is a mistake and would rather the caller pretend they were indeed calling me and then make up some kind of excuse or apology that something suddenly came up and they have to run and will get back to me at a later time. Actually as I reread these words I am not actually sure what I would prefer.
