By Nina KienleSTMicroelectronics said it expects to cut up to 2,800 jobs globally on a voluntary basis over the next three years. The semiconductor manufacturer said Thursday the job cuts include both the previously disclosed resizing of cost base and reshaping of manufacturing footprint. The company aims to further strengthen its competitiveness and ensure the long-term sustainability of its model as an integrated device manufacturer, it said.

Holcim's Amrize Completes $3.4 Billion Bond OfferingHOLNHolcim's Amrize business late Monday said it completed a $3.4 billion bond offering. The Swiss building materials company's North American business is expected to spin off by the end of the first half. The bond offering was more than four times oversubscribed and the transaction is compromised of four tranches, including $700 million two-year notes maturing in 2027 and $700 million three-year notes maturing in 2028, it said.
