    SCOTS will be treated to a "breathtaking" display in the skies as the Northern Lights are set to appear. The dazzling display, also known as Aurora Borealis, will light up the night in parts of the country across the weekend. It is caused when solar flares collide with the Earth's atmosphere, and create a stunning display of dancing pink and green lights. They are most commonly seen in far northern parts of Iceland and Canada, but can occasionally be spotted in the UK if the conditions are right.

    MILLIS — Authorities said they do not believe there is any threat to the public after a man and woman were found dead Sunday morning from apparent gunshot wounds. According to a press release from the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, the man and woman were found dead on a dirt road off Route 115 at 9 a.m. They were identified as Michael Fischella, 32, and Tanaia Wilkinson, 25, both of 67 Curve St. in Millis.
