AgenciesA 2020 study, “Trends in Snakebite Deaths in India from 2000 to 2019 in a Nationally Representative Mortality Study”, found that 1.2 million Indians died from snakebite envenoming between 2000 and 2019, with about 58,000 deaths on an average every year, the highest rate in the world. Snakebite envenoming is a potentially life threatening disease caused by the bite of a venomous snake.

ISRO's PushpakBengaluru: Isro's commercial arm New Space India (NSIL) and private space company Bellatrix Aerospace signed an agreement to integrate the Pushpak Orbital Transfer Vehicle (OTV) in NSIL's launch missions. The Pushpak is an in-space transportation spacecraft designed as a shared platform for smaller satellites, to ferry them to multiple orbits. Think of it as UberPool or last mile delivery, for small satellites.
