Scan the roadways and we can bet you will be able to count just a handful at best, station wagons, i.e. There’s the Audi A6 allroad, Benz E-Class Wagon, Subaru Outback and a few more. And, of course, the carmaker that made station wagons trendy in the good ole days, Volvo, before SUVs took over. To carry on in the same vein, the Swedish-made but Chinese-owned automaker still produces the V60 and the larger V90.

There’s just no stopping Genesis. Ever since Hyundai launched the offshoot in 2015, enthusiastic reviews have followed. The G70, G80 and G90 sedans in the Genesis stable were joined by the hot-selling luxury label’s first SUV in 2020. It provided more proof that quality, styling, design and ease of use have been trademarks of Korean car builder’s upmarket offshoot from Day One. It may be a hybrid but the 2025 NX350 is a fun ride to take on the road, responding with quickness in any driving situation while loaded with luxury/tech goodies and assuring safety features. The lively SUV is suitably quick, sprints from 0 to 60 in just over 7 seconds and tops at 200 mph.
