Norman was born the son of William H. and Raeburn (Green) Curnow on March 27, 1933, in Daviess County, Missouri. He was a graduate of Breckenridge High School. Norman was a Veteran of the Korean War, having served in the United States Army from 1953 until 1955.

Stephanie was born the daughter of Donnie and Kathy (Damerell) Cox on September 10, 1984, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 2003 graduate of Braymer C-4 High School, where she played basketball scoring over 1000 points, and ran track and was all All- State long Jumper.

Dennis was born on October 24, 1957, in Chillicothe, Missouri, to Paul Eugene and Julia Ann (Graham) Hutchinson. Dennis grew up on the family farm, in the house that his dad built in Bunch Hollow, near Dawn, Missouri. The farm was Dennis’ favorite place to be.
