Twenty-three area athletes received all-district honors for their performances on the diamonds this spring, with three players earning specialty distinctions for their standout seasons. Sweetwater’s Jayden Richesin was named the All-District 3-2A Co-Utility Player of the Year with Sweetwater’s Sadie Scott being named the All-District 3-2A Defensive Player of the Year. Tellico Plains’ Skyler Day was named the Offensive Player of the Year for District 3-2A.
