The Mets should go after these 3 relievers the most. The New York Mets' bullpen needs some arms. Last season, they were about middle-of-the-road in terms of ERA (4.03, 17th), FIP (3.86, 12th), WHIP (1.28, 17th), and overall fWAR (+3.8, 13th). Most of their arms from last year are returning; Edwin Diaz looks to be a lockdown closer once again, along with support from Danny Young and Reed Garrett.

Where could these five Mets from 2024 end up in free agency? The New York Mets’ offseason has been quite active. Of course, there’s the Juan Soto mega contract, the largest contract ever in professional sports history, but they’ve re-signed Sean Manaea, added Clay Holmes and Frankie Montas, and traded for Jose Siri. But there is still plenty of off-season and a lot of free agents still out there. A handful of those free agents played with the Mets in 2024.
