OM Digital Solutions has unveiled their latest Micro Four Thirds camera—the OM-3. The new model has a distinctly retro look with no fewer than four dials on the top plate, but it borrows much of the innards from the flagship OM-1 Mark II, including the same 20.37-megapixel stacked BSI Live MOS image sensor and TruePic X image processor, the same 1,053-point cross-type on-chip phase-detect AF system, and even the same high-capacity lithium-ion battery (BLX-1).

Philippine authorities are battling against time to prevent an ecological disaster after locally-flagged industrial fuel tanker MT Terra Nova sank in Manila Bay, on July 25th. The 65-metre-long (213 feet) vessel, which was carrying around 400,000 gallons (1.5 million litres) of industrial fuel, was destined for Iloilo in the central Philippines when it capsized in rough seas off the east coast of Lamao Point, Limay, Bataan.
