For the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, that's key to confronting an exploding problem. Climate change has added at least a week of dangerously hot days for pregnant women in every state in the country, increasing the risk of stillbirths and premature births, according to a new study from Climate Central, a nonprofit research organization. Those extreme heat days also endanger the health of mothers, through high blood pressure, diabetes and other ailments.
